i have once counted that i can see 13 alplakes from my mountain. almost half
of them possible to reach by foot. many are small lakes in the middle of forest
and mountains. many of them are easy to walk around. ...there is often sailingboats
on the biggest of them.

summer goes on long until autumn here. on the mountains winter stays long
until summer and snow comes early in the autumn. there is always snow on the
highest tops.

i can stop for long while just to listen how colors and stillness mirrows
into water. or from water. i sit there and learn to listen.
füssen - our home town
we live in country side in a small village in schwangau - swan area. near
us is a small beautiful town, füssen. possible to go by foot there.

sitting and having fire by alplake during the blue moment in the evening dawn.
dimly visible mountains behind the fire - row of mountains getting deeper
and deeper blue. all boats been sailing into haven for the night.
we enjoy sunset stillness there also sometimes in winter. and during the new year just when the year changes we will have a bonfire there.

on alps and valleys
only few spring photos. we are in finland in spring. here is spring even if
there is still snow on the mountains. ...until middsummer.
spring begins early. it is turning into summer, when we return home from our spring journey.

summer is beautiful green here. alp meadows, fields, forests - and in the
middle of green the appears alplakes and mountains.

our retreat villa in airisto in finland
sea and wind and villa merituuli (seewind). i realise how photos are mostly about the see. see in so many blue colors from still see until stormy. we have met and experienced spring and autum in villa merituuli so many years already.
